Our standards

TouchGrass accounts are for adults aged 18 and over. Our child-safety rules apply even when the people involved do not have TouchGrass accounts, and cover profiles, posts, photos, reviews, messages, and conduct connected with experiences.

We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including:

  • Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, or distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including prohibited computer-generated material.
  • Grooming, sexual solicitation, or sexual exploitation of anyone under 18.
  • Threatening or blackmailing a minor using sexual material, including sextortion.
  • Child sex trafficking, or using TouchGrass to facilitate, promote, or arrange abuse or exploitation.

Report a concern

Open the content or account’s menu in the app, choose Report, and select Child Safety Or Exploitation. If your app version does not yet show that option, choose Something Else and describe the concern. You can also block the account.

Without access to the app, email our monitored safety and support inbox at support@tch-grass.com. Include the account name, a link or identifier if available, and a brief description. Do not download, attach, or forward suspected abusive images or videos.

We do not disclose the reporter’s identity to the reported account. Authorized staff can access reports to investigate and act, and information may be shared when legally required.

If a child or anyone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. TouchGrass is not an emergency service.

How we respond

We prioritize child-safety reports for prompt human review. Our Terms of Service commit us to reviewing reports within 24 hours. Automated screening supports our moderation process; reports and other information are also reviewed by an authorized person.

When we become aware of CSAM, we remove access to it. Depending on the findings, we may remove other violating content, restrict features, suspend or close accounts, and take measures to prevent further abuse. We record the review and actions taken.

We comply with applicable child-safety laws, including reporting apparent child sexual exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the appropriate authority when required. We preserve relevant information as legally required, with restricted access and safeguards for affected people.

Contact and further help

Our designated child-safety contact can be reached through support@tch-grass.com. Use this address for follow-up concerns or to request a review of a moderation decision.

You can also report suspected child sexual exploitation directly to NCMEC’s CyberTipline. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle information.
